	The Brass Band Association of New Zealand is the governing body overseeing the rules and regulations of the yearly National Contests.
	KBB are there every year, supplying advice and support to individual contestants, and also sponsoring the Open Champion of Champions Contest, as well as the percussion kit for the A and B Grades.

	Scenic Circle Hotels are regular sponsors of the National Brass Band contests, sponsoring the closing Band of the Year contest, which particularly emphasises entertainment.

	The New Zealand Army Brass Band is supplying the percussion for the C and D grades in addition to sponsoring the Champion Cornet contest.
