I can keep your web site maintained
You will need to keep
your web site maintained. You will have
some occasional changes needed. If you can update the site yourself,
that's great. If your attitude to sites is like my attitude to cars,
you need a paid webmaster.
Paying me to be webmaster
I act as your webmaster, writing content and making changes. I maintain a copy of the site, and use that for making changes and verification. When you want a change made, email me with the changes needed.
Specify the page, and the changes to text. If there are photos, attach them.
The pages are then posted back up onto the web with an email to you advising the changes.
If a page is likely to need consultation before being integrated into the site, the easiest way is to put it up on the web with an unlinked name. This is roughly the same as an unlisted phone number. It affords reasonable privacy.
Charges: $50 per hour.
The minimum unit is half an hour. It pays to have a set of small changes all bundled into one email. Bear in mind that fixing the spelling on one name means reading the email, finding the name on the web site, editing, saving, checking in a browser, posting to the web, checking again. That takes time, but there are savings if a set of changes are done. You can set an upper cost limit before I have to get back to you. Under those conditions, I will tend to do priority jobs first, then easy ones, to clear as much as possible and simplify any further discussion.
